I’m a 3D artist trying to deal with light in the real world through photography.
Initially a hobby, taking photos of landscapes has become a passion that pushes me to visit some incredible places that I would have never visited otherwise.
I live in Extremadura, Spain. A beautiful Autonomous Community, not widely known, but with great diversity in landscapes.
I’ve never been a big traveller, so I must admit I didn’t know personally the richness of my own surroundings. When my interest in photography exploded, I experienced the urge to explore, to be outside and feel the wind on my face. The perfect excuse to escape from normal life (work, phone, people…), disconnect and just breathe.
I was lucky enough to meet my good friend Pedro Nogales, who had the same interests. Since then, we have joined forces and shared lots of trips, hikes, laughs and so many good moments. Even if we don’t get “the photo”.
(BTW, take the time to visit his website. He’s a great photographer and an amazing guy).
Now I can say I know my region a little better than before. And some other places, too. But there’s so much more out there, and I’m waiting to see where my next adventure will be.
“The camera is an excuse to be someplace you otherwise don’t belong. It gives me both a point of connection and a point of separation.”
